Open letter from RIM employee to senior management
I am a huge BlackBerry fan and will continue to remain loyal to RIM until they go out of business, which may have sounded absurd even a year ago. Wish I could say it’s just as absurd these days, but clearly it isn’t. While looking for BlackBerry 99xx (slated for release sometimes this year) I [...]
Rare picture of Tintin – Not sure where I got it from
Tintin – Finally coming to North America
When I came to North American about a decade ago, I was disappointed to see that the continent is almost unaware of Tintin and still it is the same. But things are about to change. It’s not a news to most people now that Steven Spielberg’s movie, The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the [...]
IIFA – Toronto 2011
It’s IIFA weekend in my city and being a person with a deep seeded connection with Indian cinema (a.k.a Bollywood), I am really thrilled to see the excitement in Toronto surrounding Indian culture and Bollywood. This is what Canada is all about – celebrating diversity and multiculturalism. From prime time news channels to premier news [...]
Fur trade – Evil all the way

Long overdue post – Trip to Canadian Rockies
I went to the Canadian Rockies in June 2010. Undoubtedly it was the best trip of my life. Jasper is the best place I have ever been to. There is so much to see and explore in Canada, I don’t see why I would ever want to explore any other country. Two of us flew [...]
BlackBerry update keeps on failing
I have 87 MB application memory available on my phone and I want to get this crucial update that requires 13 MB. Yet the update fails due to “insufficient space”. Can’t find a solution and seems like a bug to me. If you have troubleshooted this issue, please let me know.
