This was the view from my room at the Glacier View Inn. We stayed here for two nights and it was by far the most exotic room with a view I have stayed in.
I was at Niagara Falls last weekend and look what I bumped into. Corvettes, Corvettes and more Corvettes. Had to add the Jeep picture as my loyalty to it is unwavering 😉
Summer of 2015 was perhaps the most memorable summer for me. It was more exciting than any other summer is recent memory. I joined a cricket league and did a fair bit of travel. A LOT of travel actually. One of my (three) trips took me to the Rocky Mountains (Banff, Jasper and places around […]
I went to the Canadian Rockies in June 2010. Undoubtedly it was the best trip of my life. Jasper is the best place I have ever been to. There is so much to see and explore in Canada, I don’t see why I would ever want to explore any other country. Two of us flew […]

This will most likely be the penultimate entry to my India travel blog. Our last stop in India was North Bengal (foot hills of the Himalayas). We left Kolkata on Dashami night (September 28) and reached New Jalpaiguri next day morning at 8 am. New Jalpaiguri is the nearest train station from Darjeeling and we […]
I came back to Kolkata from Puri on the morning of September 24th. It was Shashti – the first day of the five-day festival called Durga Puja. May be it was the high fever I got at that time (was worried that I might have got H1N1) or the stress of doing some last minute […]
I went to the holy Hindu city of Puri with my aunt and grandmother’s sister. Unless you are the religious type, Puri is not a place where you want to spend a minute of your time. The temple is run by the pandas (priests) … they are more like religious mafias. I was dumping Rs. […]
