I can proudly say that I have never read a novel in my life. My lame (really lame) excuse is that “I don’t have the time to read someone else’s imagination”. The one and only book I have ever read cover-to-cover is called “My Job Went to India and All I Got Was This Lousy Book” by Chad Fowler. 2008 was an ideal year for reading this book. Plus, I wanted to see if this book was bashing India. Not at all. I have followed the advice in this book more rigorously than a religious person following their religious book. Only difference is that I even understood the content. Bonus!
2013 was harsh. I have never been faced with more cataclysmic crap in one calendar year. Situational reality at its worst … totally outside my circle of influence or control. Thanks to the new what-privacy-?-paradigm and predictive analytics, a few days ago Amazon cleverly suggested that I should read “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen R. Covey. One-click download for $9.99. So I got it. Must say that I am really happy with the purchase. This could well be the second book I will read.
