Twitter bootstrap with jQuery UI – possible “Conflict Resolution”

Thanks to Addy Osman (a Google engineer), we can work with Twitter bootstrap alongside jQuery UI (one of my favorite jQuery widget libraries). However, I encountered a problem when I put the two powerful tools together. The dropdown controls on my page won’t work and the responsive design fell apart with overlapping divs. After some investigation, I found out that the doc.css and (possibly) doc.js files in jQueryUI were causing the conflict. So I removed the reference to these two files in my blade layout file (you know which framework I am talking about) and everything seems to be working in harmony.

Go nuts now. Unleash the power!
